Events & Volunteer Days
Sunday 16th August - General Open Day
We are re-opening to the public on the 16th August as a trial event before opening for the next scheduled event in September. Due to Covid 19 we have to restrict numbers and put other measures in place. This is to enable our supporters to view the completed restoration work from a distance, take in some fresh air and find out the latest from our Trustees. Please be aware of the following:
We are opening at 12 Noon until 4.00 pm but admission has to be pre-booked using this link “Eventbrite"
We are admitting 30 Adults + any children additionally every half hour starting at 12 Noon and ending at 3.00 pm plus 20 Adults & Children at 3.30 pm. You will be allocated a time slot which you need to adhere to and you will need to pay on-line through Eventbrite. Admission charges will be £3.00 per adult. Children should also be registered with those under 5 entering free and those aged 5-16 paying £1.00 per child.
We will not be having any activities or catering on site at this initial event. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments but we would ask that you take away all your own waste material. Please also note there will be no public toilets at this event.
When arriving you need to check in at the entrance hut and you will be required to observe the “One Way System around the site in order to comply with Social Distancing. Exiting the site will be via a rear gate. This event will not be suitable for wheelchair users due to the exit route.
We apologise for this detailed information but this has been necessary in order to comply with the present regulations concerning the pandemic.
We welcome your continued support and look forward to seeing you.
Our next scheduled event is “Heritage Sunday” on the 13th September at which we are expecting to have both catering and craft stalls. We will post details concerning this towards the end of August.

Future Events In 2020
Due to the development work on the Hall and enabling site this year we are not planning our events too far ahead but we are expecting the following events to take place: (Subject to Covid 19 Guidelines)
16th August - General Open Day please see above.
Heritage Open Day – 13th September 2020 (Subject to Covid 19 Guidelines further update in due course)
Please note that as the restoration work on the Hall is currently going on, we have restricted access to the Grounds and we are not always able to run our events as previously. We regret that our woodland paths may not be suitable for disabled visitors in wheelchairs at this time. We also advise that in the winter months visitors should come in suitable footwear as some of the newly created paths may become muddy at times.
